Founded in 1941 by Frank Scanio, Scanio Movers has spent more than eight decades earning a reputation built on honest work and careful service. In 1999, Nir Shuminer took the helm, preserving the values that defined the company while bringing modern systems and new energy, and in 2015 his son Idan joined to run Scanio as a true father and son team. That family spirit runs through the whole company. Many of our crews, operations staff, and warehouse team have been with Scanio for decades, which means seasoned professionals handle your belongings at every stage of the move. Today Scanio moves households across the country and around the world by land, sea, and air, yet what defines us hasn't changed since 1941: a family-owned commitment to care, reliability, and doing right by every customer.
